By keeping groups small, tailoring hikes to each pup’s needs, and creating structured yet fun outings, we ensure dogs return home fulfilled, exercised, and happy. Meet Your Guides
I’m Chelsi, and my adventure buddy is Kobe, a young and spirited Australian Shepherd. Together we started Backcountry Pup to share our love for being outside and to give dogs the chance to live their best lives. Whether it's a solo hike or group outing, we treat every adventure as if it were with our own dog because our dogs are part of the family. My adventures have always included my dogs—whether we were setting off on a road trip, hiking through the woods, or camping under the stars. With a bachelor’s degree in Adventure Education and experience volunteering at a local rescue, I’ve been able to combine my love for dogs with my passion for the outdoors. To continue growing, I’m now enrolled in the CATCH Dog Training Academy, reflecting my ongoing commitment to learning and providing the very best for every pup I guide.
